Sometimes you might need some extra help with mathematics. Looking for plenty of patience, clear explanations and a happy approach to learning mathematics? Then you've come to the right place!
A BIT ABOUT ME
With over 13 years of teaching experience, I am a fully qualified, full time mathematics teacher currently working in outstanding state schooIs in Birmingham. I have held the roles of Key stage 3, 4 and 5 Coordinator for Mathematics, and have an expertise in teaching GCSE (foundation and higher levels) and A Level mathematics.

I teach following the Edexcel exam board but have tutored students from all of the examination boards.

Before tuition starts, a free no obligation 30 minute lesson is organised where the parents/guardians of the student and the student attend. This is an opportunity for the student to see if they are comfortable asking/answering questions and if they understand my explanations. It is also an opportunity where I answer any other questions you may have.

ONE-TO-ONE LESSONS
Based at my home
Fees: £30 per hour for GCSE or A Level
Session Time slots
Saturday 9 - 10 AM, 10:15 - 11:15 AM and 11:30 - 12:30 PM
Sunday 9 - 10 AM, 10:15 - 11:15 AM and 11:30 - 12:30 PM
Based at your home (subject to location)
Fees: £35 per hour for GCSE or A Level
Limited evening slots, call for details.

GROUP LESSONS
Group lessons only take place at my home.
Group size of 2 students minimum. Max number of students is 4.
Saturday 12:45 - 13:45
Sunday 12:45 - 13:45
Fees:
2 students £25 per student per hour
3 students £22.50 per student per hour
4 students £20 per student per hour

Group classes only run if there are a minimum of 2 students. You may want to find out if another student in your class also wants tuition for this option to be useful for you.
All students to be studying for same level of GCSE or all students studying A Level.

PAYMENTS, CANCELLATIONS AND REFUNDS
TERMS AND CONDITIONS
Before any tuition is agreed upon, a document is signed by both parties agreeing to the terms and conditions.
An outline of the main terms and conditions are as follows:
​FEES
1. Fees are fixed and non-negotiable.
2. Fees are to be paid weekly at the beginning of each session.
STUDENT CANCELLATIONS AND ABSENCES
1. Student cancellations must be made 24 hours in advance.
2. If student cancellations become regular then tuition services will be terminated and your time slot offered to another student.
TUTOR CANCELLATIONS
1. I reserve the right to cancel sessions up to the morning of tuition. However, I will always try to contact you as early as possible to avoid inconvenience.
​LATENESS
1. Students must arrive on time for their session.
2. Lessons start and finish at fixed times irrespective of student arrival time.
3. Parents/guardians must collect students on time at the end of the session.
PARKING
1. Please show consideration to all road users and residence at all times when parking, dropping off and collecting students.
TERMINATION OF TUITION SERVICES
1. If any of the above terms and conditions are not met, tuition services may be terminated.
